Institute of Practical Research on Journalism
Together with the University of Leipzig, the Media Foundation has founded an “Institute of Practical Research on Journalism” which is also financially supported by the Insurance Company of the Sparkasse.
The institute wants to support the quality assurance of journalism, to strengthen journalistic competency by involving online-media to stimulate international journalistic contacts and to promote journalistic ethics. The Foundation provides the infrastructure (premises, technical equipment) for the IPJ and currently funds four PhD students.
