LEIPZIG, April 2, 2004. James Nachtwey is the best known international war photographer of our times. From May 7, 2004 the Kunsthalle of the Sparkasse Leipzig, Otto-Schill-Str. 4a, 04109 Leipzig will show 132 of the works of this year’s winner of the Leipzig Media Award.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday: 3 to 6 pm; Saturday and Sunday: 11 am to 4 pm. The exhibition will be finished May 30. The entrance fee of 2.50 EURO will go to the organisation “Journalists help Journalists”. The exhibition can already be visited by the press on May 6 (more information will be given right in time).
